This zippy ranch dressing is chock full of fresh herbs and can be served over a traditional salad (I know, I know), or jazz up sticks of a fresh vegetables, chips, or a plate of chicken tenders. You’ll never go back to store-bought again. Okay, well, I don’t actually know if you’ll never buy ranch dressing again, but trust me: this one is way, way better. Enjoy!

Herby Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk, more or less to your preference
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1-2 tsps freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and lemon juice. Use more or less buttermilk depending on your preference for the texture of the dressing.
  • Add fresh herbs, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Adjust seasonings with salt and better, to taste.
  • Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
