Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Lemon, Balsamic and Bacon

Sweet balsamic glaze comes together with savory bacon and Brussels sprouts to a create a bright and decadent side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, cleaned, trimmed, and halved
  • 1/2 pound of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lemon, halved and sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing mixing bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, bacon, lemon, garlic, balsamic glaze and a few tablespoons of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss to full combine.
  • Spread Brussels sprouts into an even layer on a prepared baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven for 30 – 35 minutes until bacon is fully cooked and the edges of the Brussels sprouts begin to caramelize.
  • Remove from oven and adjust seasoning if needed.
