Bacon Cheddar Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 14.5 oz. cans green beans, drained (French cut is my favorite)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup bacon, cooked, chopped, and drained (about 1/2 pound)
- 1 3/4 cup crispy fried onions, like French’s, divided
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl combine, cream of mushroom soup, green beans, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, milk, bacon bits, one cup of fried onion, and seasonings.
- Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour mixture into a greased casserole or pie dish.
- Top with a layer of remaining cheddar cheese, and then with the remaining fried onion.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the top if bubbling and golden brown.
